I'm a Little Teapot (Classic Tale)
Book Review: I'm a Little Teapot by Iza Trapani
In this book review I will talk about the classic tale I'm a Little Teapot. I found that this is a very interest take on the story. The author has the teapot talk about wanting to go on different trips with the children in the house. The teapots exclaims that they can go from China to England and Even to outer space. The tale ends when the teapot serves tea to the hole family as he feels is his true purpose.
I thought that this book was quite interesting and a spin on this tale. I though the author did a great job keeping each page on tone with the original song. I would rate this book a solid 5/5. I would also mention that the illustrations are very well drawn in the book.

Good review! I never knew there was an actual tale tied to the song, which I love to sing. It's wonderful, the information and classic tales available to us in books. I will look out for this classic. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a book about this song, but I am sure most children would certainly be familiar with it! This is a classic song that so many children are exposed to, and this story would be a great way to expand off of that.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great interpretation about a classic nursery rhyme. Who knew it could go to space? I will look for this book sometime.
ReplyDeleteI never even knew about this book I have only heard the rhyme ! How interesting.
